A set for 12 mother of pearl handle silver plated fish knives and forks from the 1897-1900 era. This 24 piece set consists of the 7-7/8" fish knives and the 6-3/4" forks. Each piece has a mother of pearl handle with excellent lustre and green and pink flash. The ferrules are unmarked and nicely embossed (they may be silver - we haven't tested them and it wasn't required to mark small, light items)...

This is an unusual Vienna ruby-ground tea canister, late 19th /early 20th century, signed "Kruzka", bearing the blue beehive marked and inscribed "Sapho"; hand painted with a rectangular cartouche of the goddess Sappho in an elaborately chased gilt surround with similarly decorated rectangular cartouche of putti; also decorated with chased gilt medallions of birds and foliate scroll. Condition: slight gilt wear, Measurements: 6 in. H

A 19th century pottery Mettlach stein with blue, ivory, grey and white colors. Of quarter liter volume and intended for use with wine (judging from grape and vine decoration throughout.) Four decorative panels in arches on the mug - three with a different imbibing figure on each and the fourth, under the handle, with large grape and vine decoration. Grape and vine also in a band above the arch separate panels...

Aesthetic movement Gorham sterling silver tea caddy. Circa 1888. Size: 4.5 inches ht. x 3.25 inches diameter. Weight: 5.48 Troy ounces. A fine 19th century American tea caddy in the Japanese taste with applied floral motifs. Condition: no repairs, but with a few small dings to the body. Gorham date marks for 1888.

This estate piece is a lovely Dresden cream-ground vase and cover, 19th century, of fluted cylindrical form; bearing the Dresden mark; entirely hand painted with chased gilt-enriched grapeleaf and foliate panels and medallions in shades of claret, pale blue, pale pink, green and royal blue; the cover decorated with a seeded and chased gilt Greek key border and a chased gilt finial; the inside of the vase having scattered gold cloverleaf design...

A Royal Worcester Lidded Vegetable Dish or Tureen;; Gilt with Elephant Head Handles. Registration No. 68548, for 1887. Dimensions 13" long x 6" wide x 5" high. excellent condition.

A Meissen or Dresden Style Porcelain Table Mirror, with A Cherub and Florals. Possibly by Sitzendorf. Circa 1870. Dimensions 9.75" high x 7" wide. Excellent Condition.

A Large Victorian Silver Plate Fish Slice Set with Ivory Handles, by Harrison Bros. & Howson, Sheffield, circa 1885. The Set is a heavy 14.5 ounces in total. The Ivory Handle is mellowed and has age splits in each handle. The Fish Knife is a large 13" and the Serving Fork is 10.5", both with etching and piercing.

English novelty, figural horseshoe shaped inkstand by James Dixon and Son of Sheffield, fashioned in silverplate (EPNS) with a removable glass inkwell. 19th century. A wonderful desk accessory for the equestrian collector. Excellent original condition, with no chips, dents, cracks or restoration. Size: 4 7/8" wide x 5" deep x 2" high.

This is a beautiful pair of Vienna cabinet plates,19th Century, each having a border with maroon colored panels painted in cream and gilt foliate with a center figure, one entitled "Aphrdithe die Schafe, Des Paris Nelident?", the other "Sartiere" with impressed mark 247, S, overglazed blue shield mark in near excellent condition, minor scratch to one, miniscule flake to the other Measurements: 8 1/4 in. diameter

This beautiful footed plate or "compotier" has an incredible design of a bird with flowers, a butterfly and a bee on the top side and another bird with a dragonfly & cherries on the underside. The blue color is quite vibrant, especially on the underside design. There is a very small chip along the rim & a larger chip on the bottom of the foot. Measures approximately 8-3/4 inches across & stands 3-1/2 inches high. Stamped on the bottom with an anchor & R, I cannot make out the rest of the mark...

With lovely detail, and movable wings, this spice container measures 8 3/4" long and is 3 3/4" high. The head detaches to show a shaker stopper and the wings are hinged to open. The feathered body is embossed all over, and at the ends of the wings, the tail, and the head feathers, there are raised tendrils, giving more depth and detail to the figure...

Tiffany & Co. English King large sugar sifter ladle, sterling silver with gilded, pierced bowl. Patented 1885. Size: 7" length. Excellent condition, retaining most of the original gilding of the bowl. No monogram, no damage or repairs. Crisp design. Circa 1885-1891 (Edward Moore's directorship of the company).

A Copeland Spode D9875 Aesthetic covered entree dish from the 1870s. This early and beautiful genuine Aesthetic period covered entree dish measures 14 x 7-3/4". This English serving piece has lush gilding, relief handles and branch-style finial and fine hand painting over transfer. It has grape and vine leaves, feeding birds, foliage and a butterfly; it is stamped (faintly) COPELAND with various underglaze numbers and letters and it has painted D9875 markings...

A Boxed Fish Serving Set with Bone or Ivory Handles. Silver Plated Blade and Fork marked "JR & S" (for John Round & Son, Sheffield) and Sterling Silver collars hallmarked HG Sheffield 1898 (HG not identified). Dimensions; knife 11.5", fork 9". Fork and knife in excellent condition, box split at one end (see picture).

A Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Caddy from 1896. Made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia. It is 5" high by 4.5" wide, and weighs 7.0 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the front, and the condition is excellent.

French sewing etui fashioned in the form of a jade glass egg with gilt brass mounts, including the original sterling silver sewing tools: thimble, needle case, stiletto, scissors, and bodkin. The etui is suspended from a brass chain with finger ring. 19th century. Size: 3 inches length x 2 inches diameter. Condition: some wear to gilding on brass mounts. All tools are original with sterling handles, each bearing tiny French guarantee hallmarks...

English rosewood traveling secretary circa 1850. These pieces were custom made for British Officers stationed in India and were brought home and have been widely collected.
