A lovely Venini “A Canne” Vase with alternating canes of Straw Yellow, Amber and Crystal glass. This large blown glass vase measures 11 ½ inches (29.2 cm) Tall, and tapers from a diameter of 5 inches (12.7 cm) at the base to 7 ¾ inches (19.7cm) at the top edge. Measuring 9 1/2" to the top of the finial on the lid, this blue and white faience or delft tankard is mounted with pewter lid and base, and is painted with deep rich blue scenes and foliate elements. On both sides there are scenes of a castle with trees, and the designs cover much of the surface of the tankard. The pewter lid has a medallion with a hunting scene of a boar and dog, with an inscription below the scene "17 G L SF 84", referring to the date and possible ownership...

Art Nouveau plique a jour translucent, shaded enamel & gilt silver sugar tongs. Unmarked, but Norwegian in origin. Circa 1890-1920. Size: 5 inches in length. These fabulous tongs are fashioned in gilded silver that is formed with dramatic scrolls filled with shaded translucent enamels colored in various shades of green, blue, yellow, amethyst, and orange. The cast grips are formed like Scandinavian biting beasts. Nice condition, with no missing enamel or repairs.

An English Victorian claret jug in cut crystal mounted with a sterling silver handle and spout with hinged cover. Fully hallmarked on the silver neck for Birmingham, 1892, by Vale Brothers & Sermon.
