Antique Wedgwood dark blue Jasper ware dip jug, England, c.1900., with classical scenes in relief of Diana and other figures making offerings, and with festooned decoration round the rim. Size: 6.25" ht. x 6" diameter x 7.5" over handle/spout. Condition is very good, with no loss to relief decoration, or repairs, only with some staining to the bottom of the jug and with a manufacturer's firing crack at the top handle join. Footed Toothpick holder in a checkered murrine pattern of a red and yellow centered flower on lattimo alternating with transparent rose-colored trefoils on a cobalt ground. Holder stands 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall and is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter. Examples of this pattern can be found in the book on Fratelli Toso by Leslie Pena on pages 86 and 87. This is a delicate pair of sterling silver grape scissors made by Tiffany and Co. with handles having applied reticulated scroll design and steel inlaid into the cutting edge of the blade, backstamp somewhat worn, marked Tiffany and Sterling, 5 1/4 in H approx and 1.34 oz.

A Royal Doulton The Orange Lady HN1759 figurine. This 8-1/8" high figure was produced from 1936-75 and this example is in heavy ceramic rather than porcelain or bone china. It has an early Doulton stamp, no registry number and a hand painted model number; the shawl is brown with grey stripes, the skirt is a light purple and the oranges have no holes. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs...

This is an antique fukusa (Japanese gift cover) that the design came from the old folk tale called Urashima Taro. It is the story of a man who rescued a turtle from a group of cruel children. The turtle, who happened to be a princess of a dragon palace in disguise, returns later to thank him. The turtle invited him to tour the undersea world to her palace. He spends many days wined (with sake, I suppose) and dined, forgetting the time...
