Magnificent sterling and onyx necklace by Antonio Pineda. The jagged shaped links are strung on a double silver chain and they all move. There is an interesting pattern in the front section of the necklace where some links have a cut out section and the facing link has a diamond shaped inset onyx.This spectacular necklace measures approximately 15" around in the inside ( cannot be exact as it curves) and is 1" wide in the front and the links taper to 1/2" in the back...

Beautiful pre-eagle sterling cuff bracelet by Los Castillo. Classic curving lines and applied ball design. Measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 3/8" opening, it is 1 1/4" wide and weighs 74 grams. Great original condition and signed and numbered for Los Castillo. Matilde Eugenia Poulat introduced her designs under the signature "Matl" in 1934. She died in 1960. This is an early and original "Matl" ring,designed and hand made by Matilde Poulat, not to be confused with the Matl style jewelry still being produced by her nephew Richard Salas. This beautiful sterling, turquoise and amethyst ring is currently a size 7. It cannot be sized without breaking the pattern which extends around the back of the ring. An exuberant sterling pin with a naturalistic design by Felipe Martinez who opened his workshop "Piedra Y Plata" in 1955. The highly polished, smooth amethyst flowers seem to be bursting out of the leaves which are going in all directions.This pin, c.1955, is featured on page 186 of the Morrill book MEXICAN SILVER, however, the pin in the book has green stones rather than amethyst. The pin measures 2 6/8" by 2 1/8" and is in beautiful original condition...

Featured on page 191 of Morrills' book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO are these earrings- Wings and Stars Earrings- by Hubert Harmon. She dates them c. 1940-45. Beautiful worn all together, the pieces are all strong enough to stand alone. The earrings are screwbacks and measure 5/8" long. The necklace is approximately 16" long ( it is curved so hard to be exact) and 1/4" wide. It weighs 80 grams. The bracelet is 8" end to end, 1/4" wide and weighs 42 grams. A beautiful pair of long dangling sterling and amethyst earrings with their original box by Mexican silversmith Emma Melendez. These are screwback earrings with a lovely scrolling design top and hanging teardrop shaped amethyst. They measure 2" long with the top part being 1/2" wide. An exquisite sterling and moonstone bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. A have never seen this Antonio design before and believe it to be quite rare. There are moonstones bezel set within each of the 10 links of the bracelet. This bracelet is solid at 84 grams and measures 6 3/4" around in the inside when clasped. It is 3/4" wide. Beautiful original condition and appropriately hallmarked for Antonio Pineda as shown. A great addition to any Mexican Silver collection.
