This is a superb sterling and Lone Mountain turquoise ring by Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr.in the Thunderbird Shop. He has won several awards for his outstanding creations. This ring is a size 13 ,weighs 28 grams and is in fine original condition. The magnificent stone alone measures 7/8" long and 5/8" wide. Signed as shown. This is a museum quality piece.

Hopi Morris Robinson began making jewelry in the 1920's in Arizona and became a master of many techniques. These exquisite silver overlay earrings are a fine example of his talent. There are 12 conchos measuring 2" horizontally and 1 1/2" vertically in addition to the belt buckle with center coral measuring 2 1/4" horizontally and 1 1/4" vertically. An amazing ring by famous Zuni artist John Gordon Leak. His work was prominently featured in the 1975 Sotheby's auction of the C.G. Wallace collection. John Gordon Leak was most well-known for his knifewing and dragonfly images. The central knifewing image is inlaid with shell and turquoise within a black jet background. Sold. Like most Early Bench Made Native American pieces this little man is not marked, yet tests at least 90% Silver for the Native American Studies Devotee. Reminds one of the Petroglyphs found west of Albuquerque. Nice heft at ~8-9 Grams and has an unusual pin stem hinge ring and a nice working safety clasp. Left unpolished as found but will hand cloth polish at no fee. 2.25" X 1"+.

A band of deeply embossed and oxidized silver encircles nearly half of this bangle, made of what looks to be lacquered bamboo. The design on the band is a combination of various symbols, one of which looks like an iris. The design is framed by a Greek key-like border; the band is secured to the wood bracelet by tiny pins.
