What a magnificent necklace from the Mexican Silver Renaissance this is. The links are 1 inch tall and the ball dangles are attached at the tops of each link. These are large silver balls at 10.5mm and graduating to 9mm in the back. At the bottom of each link are 3 open repousse beads. The length is 17 inches of wearable length with each link hand chased. 41 in. long and 3/8th inch tall. The weight is 199 grams of quality silver work. We have a signature and eagle of Villasana and the finer chain hanging from the tassels which indicate the oldest rope necklaces of the era. The tassels have a beautiful brushed silver top and a braided bottom. I will be listing a smaller in diameter one this week as well. Hector Aguilar made jewelry for Coro from 1943 to 1950, less than 10 years after having worked at Spratling's Taller de las Delicias. Nice haft at .8 Oz or 23 Grams! 3" x 1.5". Heavy cast piece with normal lines that 50 year old silver gets. Except for the malachite stone at tail tip's end, it is in very nice condition.

This handwrought sterling belt buckle designed & signed by Spratling measures 2 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high & weighs 47 grams.
