A Kitty's face only a Mama Cat could love! Naive engraved face Mod Silver Cat marked in back: "Coro Mex Silver". Hector Aguilar made jewelry for Coro from 1943 to 1950, less than 10 years after having worked at Spratling's Taller de las Delicias. Nice haft at .8 Oz or 23 Grams! 3" x 1.5". Heavy cast piece with normal lines that 50 year old silver gets. Except for the malachite stone at tail tip's end, it is in very nice condition.

Eye Catching Chatelaine Clips Sweater Guards marked initials in back: Conjoined 'J F in U' inside a circle stamped: "Taxco Sterling" and something else. Wonderful Chased Long Horn Ram with body of a Dragon ending in a forked tail. The background resembles niello. These look chic clipped on to each collar point of a button up shirt! Absolutely magnificent sterling mask brooch by Margot De Taxco. Spectacular in every way,this rare and unique Aztec design brooch measures an imposing 3 1/2" wide and 2 5/8" long. The side dangles move. There are loop attachments at the top reverse of the pin so may have been part of a large necklace that came apart as it stands alone as a brooch and is all original and unaltered in any way. Beautiful condition, weighs 62 grams and is signed and numbered for Margot De Taxco as shown...

A very delicate and feminine yet dramatic sterling and white enamel necklace by Norwegian designer David Andersen. Long white enamel needle shaped links alternate with round shaped white enamel links. The chain linking them together is sterling with a gold wash. Measuring 17 1/2" end to end and 1 1/2" wide at the "needles", this necklace is in beautiful original condition. There is no damage of any kind to the enamel. Magnificent Hector Aguilar Pre-Columbian necklace and bracelet that join together with a third panel of links to form a 30" belt. The necklace is 17" end to end, the bracelet 7 1/2" end to end, and the third panel of links is 5 1/2". The width is 7/8". The necklace and bracelet are both signed with the HA mark, Taxco and 940. Sold. Taxco Mexico Handsomely Crafted Hinged Neck Collar marked: "Mexico" "950" and "TM-77". It weighs 3.7 Ounce or 107 of 95% Silver and measures 16.75" from end to end on the inside. The tri-lobal part measures 1.75" across and 1/2" wide at the sturdy hinge. Some tiny lines that vintage silver gets, yet is easily buffed. A lot of necklace for the price.

A massive sterling moderne bracelet designed by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia, Finland. It has a beautiful matte finish that makes it look like an ice sculpture. The links are hinged together and all move. It is a treat to wear. Measuring 6 1/2" around in the inside and 1 1/2" wide, it weighs 111 grams. A wonderful sterling and turquoise necklace and matching bracelet by Taxco silversmith Fred Davis. His pieces are scarce in general and a matching necklace and bracelet are very rare to find. The design is charming and the stones are all intact. It is in beautiful original condition. The necklace measures 17" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 125 grams. The bracelet measures 7 3/4" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 55 grams...

Traces of Art Nouveau are left on this Arts & Crafts Ring marked Sterling and possibly a "J", with a satin finish green swirl art glass collet set stone. It is a comfortable pinky ring at size 3.75. The eye and cheek area of the goat seems human like, as if someone had posed for the silversmith! Tests at least 90%, but could be higher. 2.5" X 1.75" and weighs .4 Oz or 13 grams.
