The detail in both the casting and paint is very fine, and the figure is life size and life like. It is signed on the belly and tail with Bergmann's "B" in an urn, with the Austria stamp, and KF in a diamond lozenge. In addition, on the tail, the mark of Carl Kauba is also stamped, which is unusual, and may have been done for marketing purposes...
