Matched set of six Hitchcock style dining room side chairs in an original green painted surface with bright floral painting. Circa 1830-40s. Dimensions: 32 inches H x 19 inches W x 18.5 inches D. Seat height: 17.5 inches. Structurally sound, with repairs to two of the upper crest rails, and with a sliver missing from one front turned leg. Great color and boldly decorated with bright floral sprays.

English mahogany reading stand. Circa 1850. This stand features a finely turned pedestal that supports a reading surface with opposing fold-up slopes and brass page restraints. The reading height adjusts in increments from 29" to 40.5", and there is a single frieze drawer at one end. Superb condition.

Vermont Victorian oak fireplace mantelpiece and overmantel. Circa 1880-1900. Size: 60 inches width x 90 5/8 inches height x 12 inches depth. This ornate fireplace with mirror back was removed from a Victorian residence in Rutland, Vermont. It is entirely original and includes the mantelpiece with carved floral corner spandrels and transom, which features a 36 inches height x 41 inches fireplace opening...

A stunning European, probably French, sideboard/cabinet adorned with carved griffins, urns and rosettes in the Aesthetic Movement style. Circa 1880-1890s. Size: 56.5 inches length x 20 inches depth x 44.25 inches height. Solid oak with a reddish orange marble top ( a later replacement). There are two hidden frieze drawers with rosettes above a double door cabinet, carved with griffin handled urn motifs.

Offered in its original giltwood frame. Inscribed in pencil on the reverse of the stretcher "Summer Afternoon, Waverly, Mass., S.P. Hodgdon, 1877." Very good condition. S.P. This is a handsome 19th century Cromwellian-style armchair with wonderful leather embossment and hand carved figural arm supports, the rectangular green leather padded back with embossed country theme of floral and fauna, a similar embossed padded seat with a center griffin, one of the barley twist arm supports having a carved bearded male bust, the other with a female bust, the legs are joined by barley-twist turned stretchers, all original, this chair has excellent color and patina...

A Late Victorian Quilt or Towel rack; Pine and Oak, with Three Double Spindle Hangers. Dimensions 28.5" wide x 28" high x 12" deep. Very moderate wear for its age, circa 1880-1900.

Antique Classically designed gilt over mantel mirror with three beveled glass panels flanked by columns with finely detailed Corinthian capitals and featuring a frieze depicting lions pulling a chariot with a victorious armored warrior. The mirror is trimmed with twenty-one gilt balls. 19th century. Size: 54 inches length x 35.25 inches height x 5 inches depth. Condition: very good with a few chips and cracks to the gilt gesso and with some seam separation in the top molding...

This oval gaming table has a wonderfully ornate book-matched burl walnut veneered top, trimmed with a contrasting ebony and inlaid burl border. A rare English garden forcer, complete with lid, of terra-cotta. Circa 1890. Dimensions: 26 inches ht. x 16 inches diameter. Used to force the growing of rhubarb or other vegetables. Very good condition.

A pair of antique walnut screened entrance doors with arched top. Circa 1840-1860. From a home in Bedford, Massachusetts. Complete with glass door knob and hardware. Screens are steel and are magnetized so would be great if used as an architectural display item. Size: 96" ht. x 20" wide (each door). Includes custom made iron brackets for wall display as folk art.
