Victorian cobalt glass oil lamp with etched chimney and enamel from the 1890s. This tall table lamp has a 10-1/2" deep cobalt blue base with an open cut pontil, an original Plume & Atwood Mfg. Co. 2-3/4" brass burner and collar and an etched glass 9-1/4" large glass chimney. The burner has a second 1897 renewed patent date and the burner and flat wick show no signs of use at all (no wick char or burner darkening) and there is no smell of lamp oil or kerosene...

A fine and decorative late Victorian arrow shaped bar pin with a natural amethyst stone. This 1-1/2" long brooch has a claw-set 3/4 x 3/8" faceted amethyst, and the pin has the original c-clasp and an attached safety pin on chain. It is marked 585 (for 14K), it weighs 6.0 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

Obviously a part of building structures, this ancient wood carving of the Apsaras was well rendered in animated posture.
The wood texture was revealed by enduring age.

A Japanese, Ryukyuan type, lacquer charger. Inlaid mother of pearl decoration of figures in landscape on black lacquer in the center surrounded by red lacquer. A band of black lacquer also exposed just inside the rim - also with mother of pearl inlay. The egde of the charger rubbed for that prized negoro affect of exposing the black lacquer background through an invariably worn coat of red lacquer...
