This delightful wooden box contains 24 six-sided alphabet cubes with letters, numbers & adorable pictures with French vocabulary words. Circa 1920's-30's, there is an artist's mark on the cover: J Roux. This set is in good to fair condition - the wooden box has seen better days, the clasp is missing & the decoration has worn off some of the blocks but nothing to detract from the charm of this educational toy. Box measures 11" x 7-3/4"x 2". Cubes measure 1-1/2".

I found this delightful tin box at an antique show in Reims, in the Champagne region of France. Circa 1920's, children used a box like this one to take their "gouter" or snack, to school. On the top there is an adorable image of a cat & a child running from a mischievous dog, and a small mouse appears on the side. Other than minor paint touch-ups to the child's leg (see photos) this box is in good shape. It measures approx 7" long x 3-1/2" wide x 2-3/4" high (5-1/2" to top of handle).

This adorable set of puzzle blocks, circa 1910-20's, has all of its original paper pictures as well as a postcard wishing the first owner a happy birthday. Purchased in France, the box measures 6-1/2" x 8-1/4" and although split along the front, it is still intact. The blocks measure a little more than 1-1/4" square. I came across this vintage steiff baby deer at a small flea market south of Paris. He is in great condition - with the original tag & ear button, mohair fur & a very sweet expression - a real charmer! Measures approx 14-1/2 inches long & 8 inches high to top of head.

This listing contains two beautiful vintage perfume bottles by Corday. Circa 1930's, both are in good condition. One has a bone top, measures 2 inches high & is marked “Corday” on the bottom. The second bottle has a glass dauber, measures 2-1/4 inches high and is marked “France” on the bottom. A terrific addition to your collection, or a wonderful way to start one!
