Book "All the Year Round" by James Whitcomb Riley with twelve woodcuts by Gustave Baumann. Each woodcut is accompanied by a Whitcomb poem Published by the Bobbs Merrill Company 1912. Ralph Waldo Emerson's essay on Self Reliance printed on Japan Vellum, copy 87 of 100, printed and bound by the Roycrofters in 1902. Book is signed by Elbert Hubbard and also by Lily Ess as the Illuminator. Minor spine & top edge wear to leather, otherwise no stains, cracks or wear to binding. Pages are crisp and clean. Measures 8 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches and contains 46 pages. A very fine copy of a rare early Roycroft vellum book.
