Beautiful 30's knit dress in rayon, with a gorgeous ruffled draped neckline in a wonderful shade of coral with maroon accents, it has its matching belt and original brass buckle. There is a small label inside that says "Made Under Knitted Outerwear Code Authority 1935". These rayon boucle outfits are one of my favorite things to collect, and I was sorely tempted to keep this one, especially since they are so hard to find. Beautiful embroidery and beadwork trim piece from an Edwardian gown. On black cotton net, the chain and satin stitch embroidery is in a soft, slightly mauve, gray floss with metallic gray embroidery accents, and beadwork in irridescent dark gunmetal gray beads. My form is a size 6, so that should give an idea of the size of the trim. Very elegant vintage 20's evening dress of black silky velveteen with a wonderful Art Deco embroidered design, with metallic and colored silk threads on a chiffon border of the skirt. This dress is a beautiful example of mid-1920's high style. The black color makes it difficult to see the subtle tucks, piping, and gathers around the waist and hip areas. The perfect mod mini dress for a vintage 60's wedding look. Made of white cotton lace and lined in white taffeta, it zips down the back and has little snaps at the cuffs. With a deep scoop neck and an A-line skirt, it's really quite adorable on. About a size 4, it measures approx. 15" across the shoulders, 34" bust, 20" outside sleeve length, 28" waist, up to 36" hips, and 35" overall length. Excellent condition.

Late nineteenth century black lace cape that's beautifully constructed in an unusual ruffled style. The neck has pleated lace for height, pleated ruffles down the front, and a hook and eye to fasten it tightly. I've shown it tied with the long silk grosgrain ribbons instead. The lace itself appears to be rayon, or perhaps a cotton and silk blend, because it has a slight sheen. Gorgeous vintage early 30's silk velvet coat from the Art Deco Era. There are so many beautiful details typical of this period that form a glamorous picture, such as the deep dolman sleeves, the rouched collar, and the wonderful draped back dropping from the gathered yolke. The front fastens with a large matching button, and the coat is lined in black silk satin. Fantastic early 50's or late 40's Bonnie Cashin wool jersey dress or coat/vest from one of the great innovators of modern fashion. As a designer, Bonnie Cashin loved garments that had multiple uses, and this dress is a perfect example. It can be worn as a dress, jumper, or long coat-vest. Beautiful "New Look" style 1950's or late 40's fitted jacket by Arnold and Heit for Nelly Gaffney. Very well made of fine black silk faille with braid and velvet touches, it has self-covered buttons, bound button holes, and a white silk lining. About a size 6, it measures approx. 15" across the shoulders, 19" bracelet-length sleeves, 36" bust, 27" waist, and 21" overall length. Excellent condition.

Fantastic 1940's Hawaiian Sarong with a matching bolero jacket in a dazzling starfish print. Of cotton, in an orange, dark and lime green, and white print on black, it has a boned bodice that zips down the back with a metal zipper and a wrapped sarong skirt. It's about a size 4-6, and measures approx. 34" bust, 26" waist, up to 38" hips, and 24" skirt length for the dress, and 34" bust and 15" length for the bolero. Vintage late 30's or early 40's black rayon crepe gown with a wonderful top of black chiffon with gold lame. The lame shimmers in colors of soft silvery-gold to bronze-gold.
