This wonderful piece is done by one of the 150 artists to watch according to Metropolitan Homes. A native of San Francisco, now living and creating with his father in Mexico. The father and son team were one of the few whose services were engaged to restore a stained glass window by Michelangelo. This wonderful ring is done in white opaque glass with orange and clear insets. It has a wonderful modern look and great feel when worn.

Beautiful vintage late 40's silk jacket and full skirt from Meier & Frank Co. department store of Portland, Oregon, in a shimmering deep rust color with sprays of little roses. Like the Christian Dior afternoon suits it resembles, this ensemble is wonderfully tailored. The waistband of the skirt has a shaped placket above the full lined skirt. Gorgeous vintage 50's "illusion neckline" cocktail dress by the California designer, Peggy Hunt. This dress is both dramatic and extremely feminine. The inside bodice is a shaped flesh color silk taffeta and netting, with black beaded Chantilley Lace and a silk chiffon overlay with two attached chiffon drapes that float behind and are truly poetry in motion. Beautiful vintage 50's cocktail dress with a silk chiffon top and a heavy satin bell shaped skirt accented with little bows. There is no designer label, but it reminds me of Ceil Chapman, with its complicated draped bodice and feminine shaping. There is a buckrum stiffening fabric under the skirt and a lined bodice. Fantastic 30's silk hand-embroidered jacket from China. These amazing jackets were made for export and cut in Western-style tailoring. Usually the motifs are floral, but this one has a complicated cityscape with people, buildings, and animals mixed with the florals. It's all white silk floss embroidery, except for tiny red mouths on the people. Beautiful 20's classic peasant dress that's hand smocked and embroidered in shades of blue on a fine white cotton batiste background. Perfect for the Gatsby picnic, or today, these dresses never go out of style. Beautiful mint green silk Teddy from the Art Deco period with ecru cotton lace trim. This is an especially pretty piece with original ribbons that are pink with green edges on one side, and the reverse on the other side. The center front inset is almost heart shaped with a delicate embroidered floral spray in soft pastel colors. Black silk 20's chiffon, lace and ribbon work teddy is Art Deco era lingerie at it's most seductive. All the ribbons are original in this lovely piece, with its appliqued lace and faggoting on the top, and lacy side slits on the bottom. My white form is shiny, so the white spots are only reflections. The teddy is a size 32, or a 2, and measures approx. 32" bust, up to 30" waist, up to 38" hips, and 25" long without the ribbon straps. It's in excellent, like new, condition.

This white cotton batiste petticoat from the Edwardian Era is pretty enough to wear as a dress. I replaced the missing bodice ribbon with black grosgrain for a little contrast. The princess lines are very flattering and typical of the period. It has lots of details, such as lace and embroidered insets, tucks and faggoting, and it's about a size 4-6. The drawstring neckline makes it somewhat adjustable, so measurements could vary in the bust. It measures approx. 36" bust, 29" waist, and 38" hips.... Click for details
