A fine German porcelain cup and saucer beautifully painted in bright enamels and gilt with a floral design. There is a Furstenberg mark to the base.

Dating from the 1st half of the C19th., the saucer measures 5 5/8inches (14.4cms) across and the cup 3 5/8inches (9.2 cms) at the rim.

Wedgwood's Black Basalt Medallion of Henry VI, and Henry V, both in relief; marked on verso, "Henry VI, Wedgwood," and "Henry V, Wedgwood." These pieces are authenticated as being of Mid-to-Late 19th Century manufacturer. Wonderful profiles of the Rulers. Oval, 2.25" (5.71 cm) long, just under 2" (5.08 cm) wide. C18th / C19th English porcelain chocolate cup & saucer

A very unusual twin handled cup and saucer. I do not know the factory but it is soft paste porcelain and almost certainly English. It is hand painted in brown enamel and gilt with classical figures. The cup has a wide footrim with a concave base. The saucer is similar and has a very flat profile and a cupwell.

An unusual Barr Worcester cup & saucer hand painted in underglaze blue with chinese/tibetan style characters. There is an incised B to the base of each piece.

A pottery vase by Richard Uhlemeyer, a German studio potter whose work had a significant influence on the mid-century artistic explosion of the 1950's-70's. In 1938, three years after opening his own workshop, he received his master’s designation in pottery. He experimented with the development of differentiated and complicated glazes. Rare, fine porcelain Vase from East Germany, made in what was formerly known as "behind the Iron Curtain." Feines Porzellan von der Republik. This wonderful vase in very fine, snow white porcelain is richly hand-gilded, front and back, in orientalist style flowers, perhaps the species "fuschia." Tiny vermillion enamel dots, or "buds" are delicately scattered within the pattern. The opening and base are both decorated with bands of gilding.
