A beautiful Derby coffee can and cover with a matching plate C 1830. Decorated in a palatte of gold, orange, lavander and white these pieces are unusual for Derby. Set on a ground of gold, orange cabbage roses surround the plate while a daylilly sits at the center. white is used as the accent color. the coffee can and coverf have the same palatte with smaller decoration. The condition is excellent and this is an elegant way to enjoy coffee and biscuit for one.

Wonderful antique Staffordshire child's mug "Jane." Set on a creamware ground is a lovely cartouche in greys and black. The name Jane appears in the center, surrounded by flowers and scrolls. the rim of the mug is painted a deep rose and the handle is decorated also. the mug stands 2 3/4" tall and is C 1840 and perfect.

A 19th Century Staffordshire octagonal child's plate, "B Is For Ball." Set to the center is a brown transfer which has been hand painted. The letter B is shown along with a large ball, a bat, a basket, a bowl,and the word bless in the background. The entire plate is decorated with an impressed design which is shown in picture three. A Gaudy Ironstone Mug bearing the name "Jane" in the Blinking Eye pattern C 1840. The traditional colors of orange, blue, green and red have gold decoration and highlighting. The mug is 3 1/2" tall and the condition is excellent.

A fine pair of Chelsea figures C 1770-90 bearing the gold anchor mark. Standing 6" tall they show a nobleman and woman in 18th Century dress and each holding a basket of fruit. Each is wearing a hat and true to the Chelsea potters they could almost be French courtiers at Versailles. The figures are seated on scroll gilt highlited bases which are profusely decorated with flowers. A soft palatte is used, however the figures are ornately decorated in keeping with the period. This is a fine little English imari jug of early Derby porcelain. I have not seen one in this size and shape before so I'm betting it may be rather scarce. It is less than 3" at the highest point. It is in mint condition. Circa 1800.

A Pearlware octagonal child's plate "The Little jockey" C 1800. Set inside an octagonal border hand decorated with splashes of red, blue and black daisies, is a black transfer of a child astride an Old english sheepdog. Dressed in 18th century costume with a large plumed hat and holding a riding crop, a toddler is riding. the words The Little Jockey are set to the center. The plate is perfect and dates 1800.
