Great Mid century, modern example of Poole pottery. The bigger bowl is 7.5" in diameter and 2.5" high. The smaller; 5.25" in diameter and almost 2" high, it is signed by the artist. Condition is excellent.

Large Mason's Ironstone Jug, Double Landscape

Offered here is a large and impressive Mason's jug in the Double Landscape pattern, dating to around 1850. It has the dolphin handle and more or less a hexagonal shape. The enameling is bright and sharp and I find the jug to be in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. There is light wear consistent with it's age on the bottom. On the lip and handle there is just the very lightest wear to the to the enamel but no roughness. The jug measures 9" in height.

An English soapstone porcelain cup and saucer from the Caughley factory decorated with underglaze blue bands and gilt.It has an underglaze blue factory mark "s" to each piece.

Dating from the last quarter of the C18th., the saucer is 5 1/4inches across and the cup 2 1/2inches diameter( not inc. handle).

A 1st period Worcester porcelain saucer dish decorated in underglaze blue with birds amongst branches. There is a shaded crescent mark to the base.

Dating from the 2nd half of the C18th.,it measures 4 7/8inches (12.3 cms) across.

There is a piece from the rim restuck and one further hairline.

Offered here is a fine, large white ironstone platter by T&R Boote, 1853. It is almost flawless. There is no crazing, no chips, cracks or repairs, and no rough spots, barely any utensil marks on the surface. I do not know the pattern, or form. The registry mark is on the back and is pictured. The tray is quite heavy, and measures 18" by 14".

Offered here is surely one of the prettiest pieces of early porcelain I ever saw. I do not know the maker, and it isn't marked. It is early, dating to around 1820-30. The cup and saucer are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is a little wear to the serpent form handle, just on the inside where the finger goes.
