Set of 8 plates by Heinrich & co.,Selb, Bavaria decorated by the Pickard Co. of Wisconsin. Pickard was known for their quality hand painting and gold work. A floral basket transfer is in the middle of the plates. They measure 10 1/2" in diameter and are in excellent condition.

Lovely Meissen Dresden covered box decorated all over with little blue flowers and leaves, but unfortunately almost all the flowers and leaves have damages. A really nice object for restoration, further the box is in excellent condition, with no cracks or repair. The interior with a gilt design. The bottom marking appears to be a Meissen mark. A charming finely decorated small box which measures 7.3 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm in height.

A pair of Continental china pots probably German, 19th Century in the form of seated figures. Dressed in Spanish style costume and seated on green tufted ottomans, a woman holding a decorated fan is being courted by a gentleman holding a tambourine and a bouquet of flowers. These have a bright polychrome decoration and a Majollica type glaze and are very charming and unusual. They are 8" tall and date late 19th Century.

These figurines were called Marchen ponies - fairy ponies by artist Luise Terletzki-Scherf 1902 - 1966. She began at Nymphenburg in the 1920's, was a student of Wackerle's and her work is still in demand. I would date this charming fantasy creature to the 1950's. Height is 6", length of plinth is 3.5", 5" overall. Condition is impeccable. Designed by sculptor Fried Heuler this Art Deco porcelain statue is simple and gorgeous. The gilding is soft and rich, the modeling makes it interesting from any angle. Height is 14", width is 14", depth is 6.5". Condition is excellent. Signature is pale and I have rubbed with graphite to enhance. Stunning.
