A wonderful 17th century Delft saucer dish with a woman's portrait in the center looking surprised. Wonder what is that round little object in front of her mouth. Nice border motif and foliated rim. Creamy thick glaze with a hint of green covers brownish grey biscuit.

Stunning and large Arts and Crafts de Porceleyne Fles Delft cuenca framed wall tile depicting a peacock type bird standing in an archway surrounded by ivy. The tile is in excellent condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. It measures 12 1/2" high and 4 1/4" wide and has the factory’s mark to the back (see inset). The tile is in its original quartered oak frame. One of the hardest to find early cuenca Delft tiles and most detailed in execution.
