Only 3.75" tall, 2.5" largest diameter, lovely emerald cloisonne Vase. Created in basse-taille (relief design which is formed into the copper and under the glaze), in a bamboo-leaf pattern on verso, and in the Japanese, ginbari style of the dimpled, foil background. The front is of gold wires which surround a beautiful double rose design, complete with thorns on the stems; silver mounts with incised signature of "Japan Cloisonne" on base mount. Pair of Antique Japanese Akasuke (red, pigeon blood) Cloisonne Vases, in basse-taille (relief pattern in copper and under the glaze) bamboo design, on the front and back of each vase; both are in Ginbari (dimpled, foiled background). Each is signed via impressed diamond symbol which appears to have the letters, "OPU" inside; and the maker's name, "Yamamoto, Cloisonne" also impressed on the base rim. Gold mounts. Antique Cloisonne Wall Crucifix

Antique French or Italian cloisonne wall crucifix. The cloissonne is very well done with minor pitting. I believe that it is on a brass base with a brass detailed Jesus hanging on the cross. The height of the cross is approximately 8". It is in excellent antique condition.

Very Fine 19th Century Chinese Cloisonne Vase

This little vase may be fine enough to have come from Japan. It stands just over 5” tall and is 2” at its widest point. The bottom is not marked. The enamel work is divided by small hand-made brass wires which are all on a brass vase. You can also see the mica flecks in the design which is again a sign of quality. Finally, notice the clover shape of the tiny mouth to the vase.
