Exquisite 19th Century Faceted, Ormolu, Gold-plated Metal, Jeweled Scent Bottle, Made in Austria (see label) of Austrian Amethyst crystal, and Austrian crystal jewels. The largest jewel, round, in center front, is flanked on both sides by cornucopias which are filled with fruit; emerging from behind each, is a ferocious, fanciful creature that most resembles a lion. Opaque white, French Opaline, hinged Casket with ornate gold-plated metal mounts, and nice working clasp. In some lighting, the opaline has a lovely, very slight green cast. Most of the gilding has worn away; one small chip on back left corner, two encased inclusions -- very tiny, pinpoint black front lower left, and small white inclusion above back mount (pictured). An exquisite late 19th Century, to early 20th, Venetian Tazza (a footed serving bowl distinctively Venetian), probably Salviati Dott., Antonio. It is pale green, girasol (opalesence) and much real gold leaf dust throughout the glass.
