Gorgeous English Cameo vase by Thomas Webb & Sons. Approximately 10" high and approximately 6 1/2" in diameter at the largest point. Unsigned. This vase has an unusual double gourd shape. It is beautifully decorated on the front with gazania motif. The back is adorned with violets. The neck has a wonderfully designed collar. There are a couple of small air bubbles that occurred in the making but do not detract from the beauty at all. Very good condition.

SOLD
Early Italian Murano Glass trinket dish or candy bowl, manufactured by Seguso Vetri D’Arte in the late 1940’s. The glass was skillfully infused with a frothy bubble pattern and delicate gold fleck applications and the design was called “Bollicine D’ Oro”. It is very similar to works of Carlo Scarpa which were produced by Venini and the manufacture is of equal quality. Based on my reference books, the label attached was introduced in 1948 and works were signed with serial numbers starting in 1937... Click for details

SOLD
Early Seguso Vetri D’ Arte Pulegoso Glass display bowl with dark amethyst or black casing and rich gold foil inclusions. The glass has been pinched and pulled upward to create a sensual form with heart shape opening and it displays beautifully. The design is often attributed to Venini because of the similarity to Carlo Scarpa’s work but the bowl has no signature and left the Seguso Vetri factory most likely with a foil label which was removed or has fallen off over the years. Measurements are 6”... Click for details
