This is a fine example of the gold lustre decor produced by Durand, circa 1915. It is form number 20172 and has an extremely strong irridescent finish with highlights of blue and green. Polished pontil and fire polished rim. Signed in the pontil DURAND V 20172-5. Very good condition with no cracks or repairs - a few minor surface scratches noted for accuracy. It may be referenced in Durand The Man and His Glass by Meschi.

This finely crafted vase in the Orange Lustre decor was produced by Durand, circa 1900. It is form number 1708 and may be referenced on page 165 of Durand The Man and His Glass by Meschi. There is a fantastic overall irridescence with overtones of gold, blue and green. Polished pontil and fire polished rim. 8 1/2 inches Tall by 4 inches Diameter. Very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs - a few very minor surface scratches noted for accuracy.

Designed by Arthur Nash while at Libbey between 1932 and 1935, this vase is a prime example of his accomplishments. It is fashioned in an eye-catching pattern of undulating pink and white opalescent stripes over an optic diamond pattern. It has a polished pontil, fire polished rim and measures 12" Tall by 4 1/2" Diameter and is in excellent condition. Signed with an acid mark "Libbey" in the pontil. This vase is a wonderful example of the Cluthra glass made by Kimble. After Kimble took over Durand they continues production of this glass which is very similar to Steuben's cluthra. Executed in varied hues of white, green and brown this piece has a classic form and a terrific pattern of bubbles. Signed "1986-6 K Dec - 32" with a polished pontil and fire polished rim. It measures 6" Tall by 6 1/4" Diameter by 3 1/2" Diameter at mouth.

A fine Durand Hearts & Vines Shade with Threading. A simialar shade is pictured in the catalogue reprint pictured on page 145 of Durand The Man and His Glass by Edward Meschi. It states that this shade, form 10010, has a webbed decoration with blue and gold hearts and a gold interior. In addition, it states on page 142 that these shades were produced by Quezal and sold by Durand. It is in Very Good condition with minor thread loss due to age. Measuring 2 1/2 in Tall by 3 3/8 in. in Diameter.
