This vase is a fine example of Steuben's crystal with Blue Threading. It has an overall quilted diamond pattern and is signed on the base with the Fleur de Lis mark. It has a polished pontil, a fire polished rim and measures 7 inches Tall by 7 inches wide.

Durand Hearts & Vines Shade with Threading

A fine Durand Hearts & Vines Shade with Threading. A simialar shade is pictured in the catalogue reprint pictured on page 145 of Durand The Man and His Glass by Edward Meschi. It states that this shade, form 10010, has a webbed decoration with blue and gold hearts and a gold interior. In addition, it states on page 142 that these shades were produced by Quezal and sold by Durand. It is in Very Good condition with minor thread loss due to age. Measuring 2 1/2 in Tall by 3 3/8 in. in Diameter.

A beautiful Steuben Verre de Soie Shade, form 896. Signed with the Fleur de Lis mark in silver on the fitter rim. 3 1/2 in Tall by 2 1/4 in Diameter at fitter rim. Very good condition with one nine mm chip to the fitter rim which is unable to be seen when the shade is mounted.

In the 1920's Steuben produced a limited quantity of pink opalescent glass that they named Oriental Poppy. Produced for a very short period and exceedingly hard to locate, this vase, form 6030, would make a stunning example for any public or private collection.
