Exquisite 19th Century Faceted, Ormolu, Gold-plated Metal, Jeweled Scent Bottle, Made in Austria (see label) of Austrian Amethyst crystal, and Austrian crystal jewels. The largest jewel, round, in center front, is flanked on both sides by cornucopias which are filled with fruit; emerging from behind each, is a ferocious, fanciful creature that most resembles a lion. Wonderful 19th Century blown glass ewer with applied, solidly gilded handle. Antike vergoldete böhmisches kunstglas Ewer. Front is beautifully engraved with an elaborately decorated cartouche containing two smaller cartouches. A most unusual, and lovely vase the maker of which we are unsure, although it reminds us of what Eddy Scheepers refers to on his Loetz site, as "Kralik Silveria," although the tiny diamond pattern of this vase is pink opalescent, where his examples are, lusterous iridesence. This piece also presents an organic style like those Scheepers examples of shell-shaped "silveria" pieces. Rare, early to mid-20th Century Bimini Glass, Wine Glass with suspended Glass Polo Horse & Rider inside the Glass Globe Stem (typical of Bimini); rider even carries a glass mallet; tiny canes of orange and white form the spiral design in the cup of the glass. Stem and foot are pale green; smooth pontil. Bimini Glass was only in existence from 1923 to 1955, in Vienna and England, and most examples are in museums. Beautiful Bohemian Art Glass vase in pink aurene color covered with pulverized glass, creating a soft, matte, light-refracting surface which exposes blue, silver, pink and lavender iridescence. It was manufactured by Wilhelm Kralik, Eleonorenhain in the beginning of 1900. The vase is documented in the Passauer Glasmuseum Katalog IV and an identical piece sold at Dr. Fischer Auktionshaus (Auktion18 Lot642) in Germany recently for EU380 not adding the commission.
