Magnificent and rare, early 1940's Barovier & Toso Gold Sommerso picture frame with ribbed structure and rich gold fleck inclusions. Clearly marked on the reverse side with authentic paper label and embossed "Barovier Toso Murano" on the brass stand. Measurements are 13.5" (34 cm) height, 11.5" (29 cm) width and the picture insert is designed to hold a photo of 9.5" X 7" (24 cm X 18 cm) size. Rare, powder blue Murano Glass Floriform Bowl designed and manufactured by Barovier & Toso as part of the Cordonato D' Oro Series in the mid 1950’s. It has a sculptured outline which reminds of an opening flower bud and the glass has a mottled appearance resembling the structure of a flower petal. The outside layer has been skillfully infused with a controlled gold fleck bubble pattern which adds beautiful sparkle. Charming, Venetian Murano Glass vase designed and manufactured by Barovier & Toso in the early 1950’s as part of the “Cordonato D’ Oro” Series. Rare yellow, amber 19th Century Venetian Goblets, in an equally as rare shape, the triple turban, with applied short clear stem, and foot. Within clear glass, the master blower has inserted yellow canes, which alternate with white zanfirico made up of tiny theads; flanking the zanfirico canes are two canes of glistening copper aventurine which twist and wind their way over and around the zanfirico.
