For those who don't know (I didn't), this is a bread or toast fork. It has a ivory handle carved with notches, a sterling ferrule, and tines of silver plate or other material. If you don't have one of these, you surely need one. Although it is meant to be a serving piece shared by all, I daresay you would always get to eat the last piece of garlic bread if you want to, with one of these beside your plate. A large George II wax document seal with the Royal coat of arms in a custom-made frame. Diameter: 6 5/8 in. 18th century.

Because the seal has been mounted into the frame, a certain amount of reflection, especially in the first picture, which was unavoidable. Offered here is a large beaded teapot stand of the late Victorian period, worked in a stunning crewel design. The colors are vibrant, and the beading is in excellent condition. It is set in a "frame" of ebony colored wood with ormolu trim. Quite a spectacular piece. The dimensions are 23" by 11"

This is an Outstanding item of Taxidermy by W.K. Petherick Bird and Animal Preserver of East Reach Taunton in 1899, the Deer slot is mounted on a Mahogany Wood Shield and has an original Newspaper report about this particular hunt, pasted onto the reverse, the Deer slot is retained by a large round headed Bronze patina screw, brass loop to top for hanging, to the reverse in black paint it reads;

Splendid Small Black Forest Box

Offered here is a small carved gem of a box that may be for snuff or tobacco, from the Black Forest region. Highly carved in traditional motifs of leaves and acorns, it has carved lattice designs and carved rope edge trim. One side contains within a cartouche, some superimposed initials that I cannot make out. The interior appears to be covered in paper or hide. The box is approximately 4.5" by 2.5". It is in excellent condition and dates to about 1870.

Small, expressive carved head of (probably) the Madonna dating to the late 18th century in my opinion. Remnants of gesso and paint, painted eyes, mounted on a stand. Not quite 6" including the stand. Very, very lovely and moving.
