This is a wonderful piece of folk art that probably dates to the middle of the 20th century. The frame is elaborately adorned with small seashells, pearls of varying sizes, rhinestones, both red and aurora. The large shells are decorated individually, with pearls and rhinestones in between the spines on the shell and in the opening. The glass and the backing is new but practical, since the frame can stand on a table as well as hang on the wall. All the pieces seem to be there and it is in fin... Click for details

An exceptional and rare sea battle painted by an artist on a 30" x 22" papier mache tray. The foreground is completely dominated by the canon fire & enveloping smoke around the 2 tall ships engaged broadside. One is flying the French flag and the other appears to be a Nordic country flag. Other masts peer over the mist. The painting itself was done by an accomplished marine artist, though unsigned. Really good wave action and ships rendering. The holes in the sails are from the battle no... Click for details

This is not an ordinary horse head. This horse is at a dead run with nostrils flaring, glass eyes bugging out, ears flat back...this is Ichabod Crane's horse! This is the most wonderful umbrella handle I ever saw. Hand carved out of a beautiful, knotty piece of wood, every muscle in his strong head is exactly correct, and as smooth as glass. It is an old umbrella handle, but I would want to make it a walking stick I think. In excellent condition. The head is about 3" long, the entire piece ... Click for details

This is one of two English sterling and horn napkin rings that I have for sale. It has Birmingham hallmarks dating it to 1929-1930, and bears the maker's stamp, which appears to be WHH. The napkin rings have a very nice look...sort of exotic and fun. The horn has separated slightly in two places on each napkin ring, but that is not really a detriment in my opinion. The shield is not monogrammed.
