Large Vienna Bronze Dog on Marble Base

This wonderful 19th Century large Vienna Bronze of a dog, most probably a retriever, is wonderfully detailed and well articulated. Notice the collar on the dog. There is a signature of the artist in the upper back of the rear right leg but I can't make it out very well. It is just three letters. The marble base is 11 3/4" by 6 1/2" and the dog measures approximately 10 1/2" in length.

This little statue is of a well fed bull dog with a particularly dour expression on his face. Great surface with just enough wear in the high spots to give his coat a brindle effect. Approximately 3" by 2 1/2". Probably dates to around 1900-1920.

Small antique bull dog of, I believe, bronze. Muscular dog, anatomically correct, and bears a typical resemblance to Winston Churchill. Excellent condition, minor losses to the painted surface. 3" by a little of 2". Turn of the century.
