This is an early, hand painted piece, with most of the original paint intact. I hope the pictures show the painstaking effort of the artist in having painted every little scale on the lizard's body. The lizard has wonderful little feet with toes, a raised head, a ridge down it's length, and very lizard-like lidded eyes. I've never seen one of these before, and I quite like it. 9" long.

I love this dog. And I've never seen another like him before, and I have no idea of the breed. He is lithe and lean, graceful and obedient, and I love all that about this animal. My favorite thing, however, is the expression on his face. He looks worried. He looks like a James Thurber dog to me, and for that he is my favorite. This dog was cast in 3 pieces...2 sides and the bottom. It is in excellent condition, and has a nice patina that comes from a hundred years of being touched. The si... Click for details

This is a really cute, vintage set of bookends. They are black Scotty dogs, half figured, on a stand. Nicely cast, with realistic detail. They are not painted, and there is no evidence that they ever were. There is some faint oxidation to the iron, which is a nice look. Nice and heavy, they are each 5" by 5". Excellent condition.

Sensational Bradley and Hubbard doorstop was obtained from an old Memphis estate. The piece has its original paint and is in fine+ condition. This is a very heavy old cast-iron figural doorstop with strong arts & crafts appeal. An oval perch for a large parrot bird on a solid pedestal. The original paint is beautifully colored in red, blue, tan, and yellow and has a great old patina. The piece is marked B&H on the underside. This vintage doorstop stands 13.5" tall & is approximately 7.25" ac... Click for details
