A very stylish Art Nouveau pewter dish moulded with honesty on a stylised ground. There are stamped marks on the base :- Tudric 0546 Solketts. This item may be designed by Archibald Knox, but I do not have the relevant knowledge or reference books to check.

Dating from c.1900, it measures 5 inches across.

Offered here is a beautiful, early ecclesiastical piece; a continental, probably Italian, pewter baptismal bowl. The bowl is hand made and hand decorated and has a lovely old patina. It measures approximately 10.5" in diameter and is nearly 2" deep. This dates to between 1690-1740.

Antique early Victorian Spelter Bronze Horse Group

this is an out-standing early victorian cast spelter of two horses fighting with a rich bronze patina, French circa 1850-1880, would attribute to P.J. Mene although unsigned, it is typcal of the work of this famous animalier sculptor. If this was in bronze and this date would cost you several thousand pounds, has the same fine detail. Measures 11" in length, in very good condition with no breaks, cracks or restoration.

Here we have a very handsome walking stick from Australia. The top, is made in the shape of a horse's hoof, and is forged in rich pewter. The color has mellowed to a soft dark color, and the hoof is of fine form and detail. The handle is well fitted into the shaft, which is strong and sturdy. I do not know the type of wood. There is a new rubber tip on the bottom. The cane is 35" in length and is in excellent condition.

A very stylish design in excellent condition, with no dings or breaks and only very slight surface marking to the centre of the dish.

French Metal Trinket Box

This is a very sweet little box in which to hold a trinket of some kind. I don't know what kind of metal it is made of, and it is not marked, but it has the soft glow of pewter. The sides are pierced, the hinge works fine and the lid closes tightly. Just a pretty little piece, about 2.5" in diameter.
