Lovely, vintage Gorham Sterling Cordial Set (4), with black, sterling rimmed tray. Original label on the base lists uses by Gorham, for this special, plastic-coated tray, which can also be used as a trivet. The tray is apx. 6.5" diameter, .50" high. Each sterling cordial is 2.75" tall, 1.25" diameter rim, 1" diameter foot. Each has the impressed mark, "Gorham Sterling 951. Wonderful pair of sterling silver salt spoons by Hester Bateman circa 1775.They measure approximately 3 3/4 long and have the sweetest little seashell bowl.The handles have a nice gadroon decoration and are slightly bent downward.They are monogramed with the letters W R S.Marks include H.B. This tong is not marked HC which means handcrafted, a made up piece by a silversmith today. This is an original Gorham tong made by Gorham long ago, a sterling silver pierced tong, 7" long, with a triple script monogram of the 1900 period on the curved end. Gorham's hallmark with sterling is imprinted on the underside.

An original vegetable spoon; the finish has not been machine buffed so it has its original finish. We spend much time hand polishing so that your silver will have a satin like silver color, a rich patina. Machine buffing destroys what time has created. It has no monogram, no removal as we do not remove monograms as that does erase the charisma of the piece. The picture looks like it is a flat server but it is a bowl with some depth and flange rims Length 9 1/2" .
