Here we have a wonderful 19th century needlepoint mat. Hand worked in a lively and colorful paisley motif on a green ground, it is attached to a linen backing and trimmed with ribbon. The backing is somewhat soiled and frayed, but not objectionably so. The needlepoint is in fine condition but would benefit from reblocking. It measures approximately 18" by 12".

Vintage French cut steel beaded purse in wonderful condition. Fully lined and with a Made in France label, this gem measures 8 inches long (inclusive of fringe) and 5 inches wide. The chain which can also be doubled 19 inches long. The frame has an embossed floral leaf pattern and a dangle in the front which is commonly found on these purses. The push down clasp works perfectly. Excellent example of this type of purse with all of the beads in tact inclusive of the fringe.

Spectacular French vintage purse with an elaborate enamel frame, that is enhanced with faux pearls and twisted gold metallic threads. The silk tambour embroidered purse is covered with finely embroidered flowers on front and back; even the sides are decorated. The lining is pristine. French, hand beaded and embroidered purse in excellent condition. The purse is 7 1/2" wide by 5" with the snake chain handle adding 5 inches. The front bead covered clasp lifts up to open the purse. The black lining is clean and completely in tact; there is one pocket. I don't see any missing beads including the twisted bead design along the top frame and the clasp.

This is a lovely French white beaded evening purse in pristine condition. I suspect this may be one of those "new" old stock finds. It measures 8" (at its widest) by 4 1/2" and the snake chain adds 4 3/4 inches. The top of the frame has twisted bead pattern and the closure has a white beaded medallion. The inside has an immaculate white lining with a label reading Made in France (Hand Made). You can't go wrong with this purse. Great for the holidays too.

This is a lovely hand beaded purse, made in France with beautifully done tambour embroidery and an impeccable enameled frame. The condition is pristine. The measurements are 9" x 6". The lining has some moderate stains but is fully in tact and attached to the purse - no rips or tears. This is a clutch purse, there is no chain. Label reads "Bags by Josef Hand Beaded in France".

What a fabulous flapper evening purse in a mellow gold color that goes with just about anything. Excellent condition; fully lined; minor separation from the frame on one side and best of all, completely usable. This is not a purse that is only suitable for display and all beads are in tact. The frame has an embossed decoration. Measurements: 6" from top of frame to bottom of fringe; width is from 3" at the top to 4 1/2 inches at the bottom. Clasp closes firmly.
