A rare Victorian glass beaded figural purse with a lovely jeweled frame, featuring two deer grazing in a forest. The colors are amazing: lush greens, browns – and some yellow highlights. Gorgeous enamel and paste floral frame; fabulous four-colored looped fringe. New green satin lining. Wonderful condition: three small repairs, all well done. Measures 10 ¼” from fringe to frame; 7 ¼” wide.

Elegant antique floral glass beaded pouch, probably English or French. Interesting nouveau design: a grid picked out in pearly silver beads, and diamonds and florets in bronze edged in silver (the flowers have ruby colored centers). All this is set against a deep steel gray field (with bluish highlights!). Lined in ice blue silk with a snap closure. Wonderful condition – the only flaw is that the beaded handle is slightly pulling from the body. Measures 5 ¼” by 4 ½”.
