Handsome Miriam Haskell bracelet was probably created to honor the Egyptian Antiquities Show held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in the 1970's. The bracelet is adjustable thus fitting many wrist sizes (see attachment pictures). The mesh chain is 9" long. The elegant three dimensional pharoah-head clasp measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4". Haskell's oval cartouche is on the clasp.

deLillo's beautiful green beads earrings all but glow! The hoops with their dangles sway slightly as the wearer moves. Designed for de Lillo in the 1970's by Robert Clark, formerly Chief Designer for Miriam Haskell. These particular clip earrings were purchased from Mr. deLillo and Mr. Clark from their personal archives and were the prototype for the limited edition that Mr. Clark produced. Earrings are 3 1/2" top to bottom, hoops are 1 1/2" in diameter. One ear has the deLillo plaque.

Elegant, chunky and sophisticated, this Schiaparelli set is heavily gold plated and in a rope design. The tassels on the earrings and necklace swing slightly on movement. All pieces are signed. The necklace is adjustable and is 16" end to end when fully extended. The longer tassel on the necklace is 5". Total length of earrings is 2 1/2" by 3/4".

I usually don't buy pewter jewelry but this had a great mid century look that reminded me of Higgins jewelry. A 2" x 2" square pendant has an amazing modernist piece of purple glass in it's center. Signed on reverse R TENN SWEDEN. Condition is excellent except for the original 30" silverplated chain shows signs of wear. This is an easy repair. A most fabulous mid century mod swedish necklace by Tenn!

Stunning necklace and earrings by Ian St. Gielar for Stanley Hagler. Various size and shape of glass beads, red rhinestones and gold plated metal combine to make this fabulous jewelry. Outstanding craftsmanship. Necklace is 20" end to end with a 3 3/4" extension. The center disk is 4" by 3 1/2". The clip earrings are 1 3/4" in diameter. There are two plaques on the back, Stanley Hagler and Ian St. Gielar. The next picture on this page is the matching bracelet.

The beautiful dragon fly motif is one of the most sought after of all of Patric's lovely work. This particular set is a rich speckled blue with antiqued metal and European glass with the opal. Note the elegant design on the back of the chunky pendant. Pendant is 2 1/4" by 1 3/4". Gold plated flat chain is 17". The clip earrings are 1" by 3/4".

Colorful! A fun set by Miriam Haskell. Designed in the 1970's to celebrate the Egyptian show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Gilt metal and glass beads. The necklace is signed on the scarab pendant, the clasp and on a metal tag. The clasp also has the patent number. The screwback/clip earrings have two Haskell signatures and the patent number. The necklace is 20" end to end. The scarab pendant is 2 1/2" long and 2" wide. The pharaoh earrings are 7/8" by 5/8".

This chrome and galalith Bengel necklace screams art deco. Galalith was a pre-cursor to bakelite and was widely used in Germany and France. Gaspipe chain was popular for these pieces and is a strong element in what is fundamentally a simple but powerful design. Similar sautoirs are illustrated in the Jakob Bengel book by Christiane Weber on pages 108 and 139. This hangs 14 inches and is in excellent condition and in a wonderful bright red. This art deco chrome and galalith necklace from Jakob Bengel has a bold design in wonderful colors. Bengel's factory in Oberstein, Germany produced an astonishing array of chrome and galalith jewelry in the 1930s. Galalith, a precursor of bakelite is another type of synthetic plastic that was widely used in Germany and France. The necklace is 18 1/4 inches long and in excellent condition.
