Acquired along with other c 1900 Folk like Tribal Necklaces this Round Cut Disc & strip Horn Bone knotted with original 'organic smelling' when burned, intact twine, sinew or other old materials w possibly natural faded dyes. Approx 24", 1" cross cuts & graduating 3/4 to 2 1/4" strips. Plenty of shiny patina indicating many decades of age!

Back in the late 60's & early 70's at College gift stores, one could purchase woven sterling silver adjustable ones also called "Elephant Hair Bracelets" w pachyderm charms. This one is Old! Incredibly detailed heavy Pin Brooch depicting a Peruvian Native South American Indian in folk costume wearing a large flat hat and playing a flute while sitting on steps. In the background a Large Urn and around the frame holding this 'picture', are four serpents. Undoubtedly a lost wax method of creating this piece that weighs 1.1 Ounce of 900 silver, reminding one of the detail often found in Victorian Picture Buttons. Sold. Like most Early Bench Made Native American pieces this little man is not marked, yet tests at least 90% Silver for the Native American Studies Devotee. Reminds one of the Petroglyphs found west of Albuquerque. Nice heft at ~8-9 Grams and has an unusual pin stem hinge ring and a nice working safety clasp. Left unpolished as found but will hand cloth polish at no fee. 2.25" X 1"+.

Just under 1" at widest tapering to 3/8" wide. 1/2 Ounce or 16 Grams. Nice pre-owned unpolished condition.

The inside measures 6 1/2" including the slightly flexible opening of 1 1/8". In very nice, unpolished, pre-owned condition.

This exceptional Zuni cuff dates to the 40s/50s, and consists of four rows of high grade, hand cut turquoise, fifty-two in all, set in serrated bezels, on a split band silver bracelet, with fine stamping. It bears the initials EA, which I have not been able to identify. 5 3/4" with a 1 1/4" opening; 2" wide. Excellent condition.
