This Scottish gold citrine heart is circa 1860. The heart is surmounted by a crown signifying loyalty. It has two natural pearls, and a central faceted emerald as well fleur de lys decoration. The incorporation of this motif is evidence of the Auld Alliance of 1295 between France and Scotland. Mary Queen of Scots grew up in France and was Queen of France at the tender age of 17. Antique 14k gold figural turtle pin, circa 1900. This sweet brooch has fine engraving and gold work to simulate the shell of a turtle. The head feet, tail and back are textured as well. There are four sections with jewels, three with small emeralds and one with a central diamond and two garnets. The turtle even wears a collar with a central diamond! These antique gold moonstone earrings are Victorian, circa 1900. They have clear,blue cabachon moonstones with lovely adularescence, the characteristic sheen visible as light passes over the stone. The gold work is lovely with fine gold twisted wires creating a pattern in the gold. They are very light and comfortable on the ear. They measure 3/4 inches from the top of the wire x 5/8 across.
