This gold Georgian brooch is circa 1820. It has a double surround of natural creamy white pearls each finely set in a hand crimped gold. The rich colored central almondine garnet is faceted,foiled back, and set in a beautiful, crimped rub over gold setting. It is one of the prettiest of these brooches I have had in quite a while. It is all original as well as the mounts. It measures 7/8ths across x 3/4 down. It is in exceptional condition and rare to find with a double row of natural pearls.

Antique Gold Moonstone and Ruby Bug Brooch

This is a whimsical antique 18k moonstone and ruby pin,circa 1910. It has unusually large cabachon moonstones set in cut down claw settings. The moonstones have that beautiful sheen with flashes of blue and white. The eyes appear to be faceted rubies but have not been tested. I have had this design before, but never with the size and beauty of these moonstones. It measures 1 3/4 inches across x 3/4 inches wide. It is all original and in excellent condition.

Antique 14K Antique cufflinks each unique each with an incredibly expressive mask. Each side measures 1/2"W X 5/8"L. They weigh 5.1 grams together. The masks are both in excellent condition. One of the bars has a hard to find dent near the center . Quality very theatrical Antique cufflinks.

Outstanding and very unusual 14K Victorian circa 1880 Italy high relief lava cameo of a lovely classic Maiden in profile surrounded by an intricately carved lava frame all carved from one piece of lava. The carving measures 1 3/4"L x 1 1/2"W. a 14K pin and loop for a chain were added to the back. All we could find was a small knick to one of the flowers otherwise in excellent condition. Definitely heirloom quality.

These Victorian pique earrings are one of the best pair I have seen. They are in excellent condition, which is hard to find and have a very pleasing shape. According to Margaret Flower (Victorian Jewellery, 1951), the art of pique was brought to England in the seventeenth century by the French Huguenots who were fleeing persecution. This wonderful pendant is Georgian, circa 1820. It is a Maltese cross of high Karat gold made of fine cannetille. This form of work used very fine gold wires creating rosettes and vines. The cross is of the highest quality and has a rich patina. The central section has a flower motif created with natural pearls and a central emerald. All original Victorian carved ivory cherub attached to a black ribbon with a carved ivory slide and an ivory clasp that unscrews. The cherub or angel is very unusual because her wings head up towards Heaven. The carving measures 2 1/4"L X 7/8"W. The slide measures 3/4"L X 3/8"W and the ribbon is about 26"L X 1/4"W.
