These long 14K gold and pearl earrings are for pierced ears (though could be converted). The lower part of the earrings swings freely and the central bar with the suspended pearl swings freely as well. So there is a lot of movement in these earrings. They are 2 3/8 inches long, in excellent condition and marked 14K on the posts. There is a nice contrast between the surface treatments of the gold as well as the curved and linear design of the two parts of the earrings.

This beautiful Victorian moonstone ring is circa 1900. Moonstones were considered a rare stone in antiquity, and in India it was sacred. Quite unusual in appearance, its beauty is unmatched to other gemstones. Its unique quality is created when the stone is clear and light refracts as it passes through the stone. The result is a beautiful sheen, or adularescence which moves across the stone as it moves.

Beautiful 14K gold (marked) ring set with 3 moonstones. The moonstones have the desired
adularescence (the shimmer of white light with a bluish tinge)and are evenly sized. Very dramatic, yet simple, it's an eye catching piece. There appear to be two other punchmarks inside the shank (along with the 14K) but I cannot make them out even with a 20x loupe. The ring is a size 6 1/2 (UK size N) and could be resized without interfering with the marks. The moonstones are approximately 8mm in diameter ... Click for details

Beautiful 14K gold modernist necklace, hand fabricated with a lightly hammered surface on one side of each of the 5 curved boomerang shaped flat links. The S clasp is beautifully shaped. Surprisingly, this piece is only stamped 14K; there is no makers mark. It is difficult to measure due to the shape of the links but it is a choker style piece and between 15-16 inches. Classic, elegant design. Great condition.

Offered here is a lovely glass intaglio pendant depicting a female figure kneeling upon a bench. The intaglio is set in a gold filled frame and it hangs from a simple gold filled chain. This is a very elegant necklace, simple and tasteful. The pendant is 3/4" across and 1 1/4" top to bottom. The chain is 16" approximately. There is a small spot of oxidation on the left side that I have not tried to remove. That is the only flaw in the necklace.

These wonderful earrings are Georgian, circa 1800. They are among the prettiest I have offered in quite a while. The finely faceted pastes are large and set in crimped rub over settings. The stones are foiled since they are set in closed backs. The process of placing foil behind the stone was devised to enhance the reflection of light. The foiling gives the stones a subtle hint of color, and in the night light they look light champagne diamonds. They pastes are black dot, which was used to sim... Click for details
