This fine 14K gold American arts and crafts ring is set with an aquamarine. The elaborate setting of leaves and tendrils extends down the sides of the shanks. There are no marks but this tests for at least 14K gold. The top of the ring is 13/16ths (north/south) and the aquamarine is approximately 6mmx8mm. In excellent condition, the ring is a size 4 and could readily be resized. These rings are often small as they were originally worn on the pinky.

This very pretty ring has an arts and crafts setting just over one inch long by 5/8 of an inch wide. The pierced gold design has also been worked from the rear giving the setting a rounded appearance (see side view image). The turquoise cabachon is about 10mm. The ring is marked 14K inside the shank and is a size 6.5. Great condition and very attractive ring of this type.

This is a stunning ring, handcrafted in 14K gold and set with a blister pearl and two small diamonds. The design of the ring is in keeping with some of the best gold work that was being done in Boston by crafts jewelers in the early 20th century. The setting is a 1/2 inch wide and 1 5/8 inches long. You will find that many of these rings are quite small as they were made to be worn on the pinky. This one is no exception and is currently a size 3 1/2 but could be resized by a competent jeweler.

This is an interesting arts and crafts ring, a hand crafted gold band set with three fire opals set in a prominent cramp setting (this is a variation of the rub-over setting, in which the metal is cut away and there are points which are then folded over to keep the stone in place). What immediately caught my eye about this ring was the stones, (I thought) but I think the artist also wanted to make you aware of his or her hand with this prominent type of stone setting. And the artist’s hand is ... Click for details

Lovely 18K gold moonstone ring in a simple but elegant setting that lets the stone say it all. The navette shaped stone is 16mm long and the overall setting is 22mm x 12mm. The moonstone gets its name from the gleam which shifts as you move the stone in different directions. The technical term for this is “adularescence”. This is a beautifully constructed ring. Inside the shank is a markers mark of RB in a diamond shape (however the R is backwards). The ring is a size 5 3/4 and shows an arts ... Click for details

This is one of the most beautiful antique rings I have ever had, certainly a custom made piece. With its classic arts and crafts elements, the ring features a stunning plum star ruby flanked by two tiny rose cut diamonds, all mounted in a built-up setting of applied flowers and leaves in 14k green and yellow gold. Just incredible! Excellent condition with minor wear to shank, which is marked “14k”. Size 6 ½”.
