Extremely rare Scottish agate brooch, circa 1860-1880. This brooch set in sterling, has finely inlaid agates set invisibly one to the other. The colors meld so perfectly that the eye catches the subtle play of color uninterrupted by any adornments. The striping is created by several pieces of agates placed together, seamlessly forming a pattern. What is also distinctive, is the central sterling silver cross, the Cross of St. Andrew. Delightful vintage Mexican silver bracelet composed of heavier, uniquely designed link bracelet and oversized hand cut onyx heart. A circa 1930s to 1940s piece whose chain design is similar to one I have seen by Los Castillo and also by Hector Aguilar. Made to fit well with 'flattened' reverso so that bracelet lays well on the wearer's wrist. Heart measures 1 3/4" square (without drop) and is just under 1/2" deep. Chain measures 7 5/8" long and 1/2" wide with a depth of approximately 1/4". Mar... Click for details

Well constructed modern silver necklace set with an amethyst druzy. The large curved bale is very reminiscent of Scandinavian jewelry but this piece is most likely German or Austrian. The diamond shaped bezel is constructed of silver bars and set into the semicircular bale. The pendant measures 3" long by 1 1/2" at the widest point. Marked as pictured and the 32" chain, though not original, is included.
