A timeless beauty by William Spratling ~ the Petate Bracelet. One of the very finest examples of the designs and silverwork created during the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Three reverso hammered medallions with etched/chased design. Nicely sized at 7 1/2" around. Widest part of the design measures 2 1/4" tall. Pin close. In fine vintage condition with age attendant surface wear and beautiful, general wear pattern. Correctly hallmarked as shown. An all together striking Spratling piece.

This is the only one I have owned having multiple cairngorms alternating with the agates. The colors of the stones are soft, and brings light to the agates. ... Click for details

To me, it looks like a ribbon secured in the center. Each stone is carefully placed, with one on the opposite side, like a mirror image. Th... Click for details
