Evald Nielsen ( 1879-1958 ) opened his workshop in Denmark in 1907. His style is very similar to that of Georg Jensen and there are those who think Nilesens' work is of even better quality. This spectacular sterling and lapis Art Nouveau pin measures 2 1/8" by 2 1/8". The bursting lapis bud provides the focal point of the pin and is surrounded by luscious sterling foliage. It is in beautiful original condition and signed as shown. It is magnificent in every way.

This lovely ring is made in the German equivalent of the Art Nouveau style, which is called Jugendstil (or youth style). The curvilinear lines show the Art nouveau influence but the Jugendstil was also influenced by the English arts & crafts movement which is also shows in this ring. The top of the ring which is set with coral, is 1/2 x 3/4, and the ring is a size 5 3/4 but could easily be resized. Fabulous vintage cheese or fruit knife with a sterling silver alligator handle. The alligator is three dimensional and has great definition and great character. Sterling silver circa 1880-1900 cuff bracelet by George W. Sheibler This bracelet is from his famous curio medallion series which depicted Greek and Roman deities. The cuff is etched and textured and 5 different medallions hang from the cuff. The cuff measures 3/4" at its widest and is about 7" around on the closure closest to the end.
