Very pretty and sinuous bracelet in fine condition. There are some faint marks on the back which I cannot make out even under a loupe. 7 1/2 inches long by 7/8 inch wide. It tests as 800 silver so we know it's from Europe and most likely Scandinavian. The repousse of the leaf forms makes a nice contrast to the shaped flat wire links.

Lovely "pools of light" earrings that were popular in the early part of the 20th century and originated in China. These rock crystals are wrapped in beautifully decorated silver bands that hold the crystals in place. Rock crystals are considered to have healing powers and images viewed through the crystals appear upside down. This pair is marked China on the back of each screwback. Very elegant, filigree design on both the screwback and the flower shaped piece on the chain. Even the chain links ... Click for details

Exceptional art nouveau sterling silver brooch, featuring Aphrodite in a swirling sea, circa 1905. The brooch is brilliantly done, starting with it’s shape which is an irregular circle – very organic and natural! The goddess emerges from the waves, bare-breasted, a flower in her flowing hair. From her up stretched hand cascade three small circular forms – I don’t think they’re a part of the wave motif. It’s possible that they represent the golden apples so important in many of her legends. ... Click for details
