Superb colors in this lovely enamel necklace by Charles Horner. The whiplash design and Celtic knot of this pendant is very much like Knox’s designs for Liberty. Charles Horner was based in Halifax Canada but pieces are generally marked with the Chester assay mark. This pendant is marked C.H., for Chester, with the date letter for 1910 and the lion passant for sterling silver. The main pendant is 1 1/8 x 7/8 and the necklace hangs 11 1/4 inches. This English Arts & Crafts period necklace has an unusual color palette of acid green, forest green and plum which very subtly flow into one another. There are three silver flowers set on to the enamel plaque and the whole is set into a frame decorated with flowers and a bow on top. Very elegant Peruzzi Florence bracelet with floral links that alternate moderately in size. Each flower has been formed so that each petal is rounded giving the bracelet nice dimension. There is a safety chain, secure clasp and it is 1 inch by 7 1/2 inches. Marked on rear in the oval Peruzzi Silver 800 Florence.

A rare and spectacular handwrought sterling repousse cuff by silversmith Peer Smed. He was trained in Denmark, came to the U.S. and worked for Tiffany & Co., then later opened his own shop in New York. The workmanship of this bracelet is superb.The flower and leaves look alive. His pieces are hard to find and this is the first bracelet made by Smed that I have ever seen. Fabulous Modernist Necklace of Sterling & Tortoiseshell

This is a wonderful necklace out of a Manhattan estate, handmade for the owner. The pendant is a piece of tortoiseshell set into sterling silver, and it hangs from bone shaped sterling links. I have left it unpolished because it suits the piece better, in my opinion. It hangs attractively and is in excellent condition. The chain is approximately 9.5" on each side, the pendant is a little over 2" square. It dates to the mid 20th century.

Offered here is a splendid small brooch in silver with a round, polished agate in deep blue. There are tap marks on the back as shown in the last enlargement. The pin is 2" long, in excellent condition, and dates to the early 20th century.

This pretty bar pin is handwrought and attributed to the Forest Craft Guild of Grand Rapids. It is 2 1/2 inches by 1/4 inch and is unsigned as much of their work was. The center cabachon is iridescent blue/green glass and measures 1/4 by 7/8. The pin is probably german silver (also known as nickel silver). Forest Mann started the Craft Guild in 1905 and it operated until 1918. The pin is in excellent condition and in it's use of glass cabachons and cutout designs very typical of the Guilds desig...
