Lovely, heavy vintage Mexican silver bracelet. A design that reminds us in part of the work of Horacio de la Parra and in part of the work of Matilde Poulat. This lovely bracelet evidences a strong, hand smithed design full of intricacy and rich texture. Each link varies so slightly from the other providing an all the stronger feel of the artisan's hand. Great wide size and heavier gauge silver (hand rolled) add to the pleasing elements to this piece. In very good vintage condition. Measures 1 1... Click for details

Remarkable, rare vintage Mexican silver bracelet by Antonio Pineda. Fundamentally architectural in its design. This bracelet is created out of structure -- the structure of the silver to which the tabs of silver and hematite are attached; the structure of each oval-oid form attached to the next and to the one underneath. A remarkable piece showing Maestro Antonio's departure from more traditional aesthetics and embracing the modern vocabulary of design and architecture. In fine vintage condition... Click for details

From a private collection, this is a stunning sterling necklace and two bracelets sold at the Rancho Alegre, the largest silver shop in Taxco during the 1960s-70s. The designer initials are TRM . I do not know who this silversmith is, however, they sold their work at the Rancho Alegre. This smashing set consists of a 17" necklace and two 8" bracelets. The pieces are all 3/4" wide and in fine original condition. There are NO dings or dents to the balls or domes. A spectacular feature is that one ... Click for details

Charming vintage Mexican silver repousse pin. Wonderful, classic motif of campesino and cactus done. This piece is done with a level of excellence and attention to detail not typically seen in this particular motif. Larger in scale with minute detailing to the garments of the gentleman -- down to hat brim, garment decoration and draping, and sandy base. Adding to the charm and whimsy of this wonderful ca. 1930s piece is the rather wonderful, mature cactus at the gentleman's side. The cactus is c... Click for details

Very rare vintage Mexican silver and moonstone bracelet by Antonio Pineda. Unusual for Maestro Antonio with its design by circular and organic form. Classic for Maestro Antonio with its generous use of 970 silver, excellent silversmith and construction, and wholly unified design elements. Accenting moonstones and silver spheres are set into open back bezels. Antonio makes masterful use of the required close and creates a three part sub-design within the whole (as photographed.) In fine vintage c... Click for details
