Lovely example of Reveriano’s work. This elegant scroll design is a unique and mint piece having its own original safety chain. The bracelet is 17 cm (6 3/4“) long and 2.3 cm (1 1/4”) wide. A most elegant necklace and earrings set by the famous Los Castillo from Taxco. The pieces are all in excellent condition. This set is hallmarked with the eagle 15 and number 858 which is the design number. The figural motif is that of a “rehilete” or pinwheel. The necklace is 57 g (2 oz) and measures 42 cm (16 1/2“) in length. Each link is 1.8 cm (2/3”) in diameter. COLLECTOR QUALITY

Lovely petit Pegasus pin made by Los Castillo. This is a mixed metals piece. Pieces made of silver, copper and brass were made in Taxco by Los Castillo, Victoria and a few other artist. The technique to combine the metals is extremely difficult and labor intensive. A hand full of silversmiths were capable of making such pieces. A beautiful set from the famous Taller de Los Ballesteros in Taxco. This set is unique and a great example of the fine silver produced in Taxco in the 1940s. The design depicts pre-Hispanic ideograms and each link has a different symbol. Necklaces from this period tend to be short and often difficult to fit.
