Heavy, elegant demi-parure by Hector Aguilar. Composed of the necklace (of silver and obsidian) and the bracelet (of silver and onyx). Soft, hand-polished and rounded edges. Repeating semi-spherical, geometric link design interspersed with hand carved, bezel set obsidian and onyx. Fully and correctly hallmarked for Hector Aguilar. A similar design can be found in "Silver Masters of Mexico." Lovely, rare set.

A magnificent sterling and stone s-curved motif necklace, bracelet and screwback earrings set by Felipe Martinez. His workshop , Piedra Y Plata, opened in 1950, was considered by his peers to be one of the best silver shops in Taxco.
This magnificent set is featured on page 189 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date is c. 1955. The necklace measures 16 1/2" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. The bracelet measures 7 1/4" end to end and is 1" wide. The screwback earrings are 1" lon... Click for details

Gorgeous sterling silver and enamel set by Margot de Taxco. The set includes the bracelet the earrings and the necklace which converts to a necklace and pin. WOW! Each panel of the bracelet measures 1 1/8" in diameter and the bracelet is almost 7 1/2"L. It weighs 60.9 grams has a safety chain and a clasp that opens easily and snaps shut. MASSIVE and ENORMOUS Antonio Pineda 970 silver cuff with shadow box figures and matching screwback earrings. We are talking BIG! The cuff is 2 3/4" wide, 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/4" opening and weighs 202 grams. The matching earrings are 2 1/4" long and 5/8" wide. I have never seen this bracelet or earrings in such large scale before. It is in fine original condition and both pieces are fully hallmarked as shown. A beautiful sterling and cabachon amethyst necklace by Carmen Beckmann. One of the few women Mexican silversmiths, her work is hard to find and always interesting and beautiful.Beckmann had a shop in San Miguel deAllende and was active in the 1960's and 1970's. This necklace measures 15" end to end and is 5/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed as shown. GORGEOUS!

Voluptuous floral and bead and bar design sterling bracelet by Valentin Vidaurreta who established his first workshop in Mexico City in 1936, then moved to Taxco in 1941 where he designed principally for Hector Aguilar until 1952 and also had a small workshop of his own. He may have also designed for William Spratling and Fred Davis. This bracelet measures 6 1/2" around in the inside and is 1 1/4" at the widest points and narrows to 3/4" at the back clasp.
