This artisan made sterling silver necklace has a wonderful abstract design. It was made and signed by Aaron Rubenstein, who is still working and has a studio in Cincinnati. The stone is an agate (I believe) and measures 1 1/4" x 5/8" while the pendant is 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" at its widest. Not only is this handsigned and dated but it also identifies the fossil! Excellent condition.

These Henry Steig sterling silver earrings have a great kinetic design. They also have a substantial look yet are lightweight and comfortable to wear. These were converted to pierced ears; they would have originally had screwbacks. They are signed on the rear. 2 inches long and great condition. Steig was largely self taught and worked in NY in the 1940s/50s; he died in 1973.

Elegant sterling silver studio earrings. These are signed but like the other pair I have listed (#1087)the mark is very difficult to decipher but these must be made by the same person. The round, slightly curved circles have a gilded wirework pattern soldered to the surface. A swirling round wire spiral is attached, with a pearl on either end. Nice contrast between the linearity of the surface and the 3-D swirling silver element. ... Click for details
