Beautiful and elegant sterling silver pendant with a faceted rock crystal set into a web of silver. The pendant is one inch in diameter and the rock crystal is 10mm in diameter. The marks for this piece are on the outer bezel; 925, Finland and the makers mark for Kultasepat Salovaara which is a polar bear on an ice floe. The chain is 19 inches and is marked 830S. This is a versatile piece and can be worn with just about anything. I have another, larger rock crystal necklace listed, item# 455.

Scandinavian silver modernist ring is by Finnish designer Matti Hyvarinen. The sculptural ring is a contrast of shiny, polished surfaces and concave matte areas. It has a bit of a Lapponia/Weckstrom look to it but is more symmetrical than Weckstrom pieces. In excellent condition, it is a size 7 1/2 and could be adjusted slightly either way (last photo shows back of shank). Inside marks are: Made in Finland, MJH, 925, the Turku city mark, Y7 for 1976. Great "chunky" looking, highly textured silver bracelet by Finnish designer Pentti Sarpaneva. It is 1 1/4 x 7 1/2 and has a safety chain. It's very striking as is most of his work and weighs 65 grams. Marks: Crown for Finland, 830H for silver content, town mark for Turku, and R7 for 1970.

This fairly substantial silver ring has a wonderful texture and is very reminiscent of the work of Else and Paul Hughes. It is 5/8" in diameter, 7/16th high above the finger, and is slightly adjustable, It is a size 6 1/2, and is marked Sterling, Norway, 925S and an unknown makers mark. I have tried identifying this but no luck so far. Great condition.
